Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Barrie

I had a fantastic stay with a clean king room where I really enjoyed the thick towels and nice bathroom. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only thing that could be better is the limited breakfast options, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

We were pleased to find a decent size rooms at this family-friendly hotel. The property had a quiet and convenient location near everything you 'd want to be near. Further, it was next to downtown, restaurants, and neighbouring plaza.

Hotel as a whole is hospitable and homey, I liked it.

The room was very clean and nicely presented, with a microwave, coffee station, and fridge combo that I really appreciated. The walk-in shower was a highlight, complemented by beautiful countertop finishes. Upon check-in, I was given a ground floor room despite my request for a higher floor, and the clerk's response felt dismissive while I waited for an available room. Despite this minor setback, the overall ambiance was pleasant and the staff was friendly.

Units with huge bathroom.

Everything is fairly clean and great. The breakfast offers lots of eggs, hot waffles, fruit and bacon. The location is central, very close to Barrie and the major shopping areas and downtown and many others amenities.

I thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness and modern decor of my King Suite. The hotel was very accessible. The complimentary breakfast was a good bonus, with a variety of choices.

More assistance during check-in would be helpful.

Family with children will love this place!

The staff were friendly and helpful, even asking how my kids were doing! And the breakfast? It had a great variety, with different kinds of sausage patties and waffles that were a huge hit with the kids!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable given the overall experience.

Decent parking available near the entrance. Location near Park Place provided a lot of dining choices-convenient after a long day.

The whirlpool was out of order , disappointing. The cleanliness of the carpets in the room and hallways left much to be desired, feeling worn and grimy. The fridge froze everything inside, ruining my food and medicine, and light switches in the room had inconsistent functionality. Breakfast lacked variety, with lukewarm eggs and a pretty mediocre selection overall. No ice or vending machines on the floors, despite being indicated on the hotel map. Quite a letdown considering the price jumped significantly on weekends-it felt overpriced for what was offered.

Just a balanced option for a short break in Barrie with all in all great value for money. The pool was warm and great for my kid. For a good meal, check out the pizza place next door.
